Missions for Christ Pacific (MCP)
Who We Are
Missions for Christ Pacific (MCP) is a community of believers based in San Diego, California, dedicated to the mission of the Great Commission. We serve as a bridge between the local church and the global mission field, focusing on the “hidden heroes” of the faith—the overlooked, bi-vocational missionaries—and the restoration of small, under-resourced churches.
Our Vision
Building the Organic Church
We believe that the Kingdom of God is not built through the competition of large institutions, but through the sacrificial unity of small, organic communities. We are committed to breaking the walls of individual church-centeredness in the Korean church and beyond, fostering an environment where small congregations unite to encourage one another, share resources, and spark a new wind of the Holy Spirit.
What We Do
Missions for Christ Pacific (MCP)
- Missionary Care: We identify and support passionate, bi-vocational missionaries in China, Uganda, and Panama, and other parts of the world. Our primary focus is to provide financial stability to missionary families which includes their daily needs and educational support for their children, allowing them to remain steadfast in their calling.
- Small Church Network: We currently partner with 13 small, non-self-sustaining churches in Korea. By facilitating cooperation and with a shared vision, we empower these churches to move beyond survival and become vibrant centers of God’s history.
- Global Expansion: We are applying our proven network model to the Americas, beginning with our partnership with a local church in Mexicali, Mexico. Our goal is to replicate this model of organic spiritual unity internationally.
- Gospel Outreach: Every month, our members gather at the San Ysidro, CA border to share the Gospel. We produce and distribute free, high-quality Gospel tracts in English, Spanish, and Korean, making them available to any individual or church to share the Good News of redemption and salvation through our Lord
Our Weekly Commitment
Missions for Christ Pacific (MCP)
The heart of MCP is found in our weekly worship service. We believe that effective ministry can only flow from a life grounded in prayer and spiritual discipline. By gathering regularly, we strengthen our members’ faith and ensure that our outreach is consistently fueled by the power of the Holy Spirit by lifting up the churches, pastoral and missionary families in prayer and care.
